The Nissan started production of the new generation of Micra, at its plant in Flins, France, with the production of Micra to return to Europe after a break of seven years. Deliveries of the model will begin in European key markets in mid February, while the rest will follow in March.
The start of production marks the beginning of a new chapter in the success story that stretches back more than three decades. First launched in Europe in 1983, the Micra is one of the most known names world model with global sales of more than seven million cars. The all-new version – the fifth generation – to see it return to the heart of the European B-segment hatchback.
The new Micra was presented to the public last September on the sidelines of the Paris exhibition and stands of the largest size, which translates into more interior. Now has a wider range of downsized engines with new platform and a complete package of technological innovative safety features.
